More sexual harassment accusations at Fox

The Fox Business Network has fallen into a sexual harassment scandal regarding the host of its program "Making Money." The sexual harassment investigation is currently pending against new host Charles Payne.

According to news reports, the investigation relates to a female political analyst who has accused the man of sexually harassing her. A spokesperson for the Fox Business Network said that those in leadership positions at Fox take "...issues of this nature extremely seriously and have a zero-tolerance policy for any professional misconduct." The news host has been suspended from being on the air while the matter is being investigated.

At this time, the accused news host has not responded to the accusations. However, his attorney said that his client has not committed sexual harassment.

The woman who lodged the sexual harassment claims in this case contacted Fox's lawyers to make her complaints. She said that Fox blackballed her from giving on-air political commentary after she ended her three-year affair with the Payne. She was a frequent commentator on the business network from 2013 through 2016. In her allegations, she said that Payne coerced her into having a relationship with him.

Any time a woman stands up against her sexual harassers in Los Angeles, she should be applauded. It is difficult to bring such information out publicly because the exposure may come with feelings of vulnerability and embarrassment. However, the law is on the side of victims when it comes to sexual harassment. If you've suffered from unwanted sexual harassment, quid pro quo offers and other sexualized and offensive behavior on the job, you can pursue financial compensation in court.
